The South African Fraud Prevention Services has sounded warning bells that there is an uptick in impersonating crimes as forces are preying on victims. According to Manie van Schalkwyk, consumers are facing a significant cycle of high inflation and are looking for ways to make ends meet which makes them vulnerable to such crimes.
